| T'AI CHI CH'UAN ENERGETICS WEEKEND INTENSIVE JULY 13 - 16, 2000 Ta'i Chi Chuan is an internal martial art rich with deep and often mysterious value. Learn the hidden energetics of the Yang Style Short Form applying the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine to enhance your personal practice. Immerse yourself in the magic of Santa Fe, the Land of Enchantment. Often called an "energy vortex," this high altitude healing center offers a history renowned for its power. WHAT BETTER PLACE TO COME? EXPLORE YOUR FULL POTENTIAL This 3-day, 3-night workshop includes 12 hours of internal energetics training. This is not a corrections class workshop. New Tai Chi players welcome, but you will be expected to know the full Yang Style Short Form. BEAUTIFUL LOCATION Set just outside the busy city, this rural retreat center offers luxury combined with peacefulness. Weather permitting, some classes will be held outdoors in the lush gardens. EXCELLENT FOOD All meals are specially catered by a local chef. Meals are healthy, hearty and always include a vegetarian dish as well. SPECIAL BONUS A brief introduction to a rare weapons style, Tai Chi Fan Form, will be offered as part of the workshop experience. Practiced by both men and women in Malaysia, this series of beautiful movements, punctuated by the snapping of a fan, appears to be a dance. Instead, it is a Tai Chi form involved with projecting chi into a weapon. We will provide each participant with a gift of an elegant Chinese fan.
