In this introductory class, we will work with a variety of Tarot Decks, examining the differences and similarities so you can decide which deck is right for you. (Be sure to bring your current deck along if you already have one.) Four weeks each will be spent on the Major and Minor Arcana to study their functions and the progression of the cards. In addition to the "recipe book" description of each of the cards, we will learn how to view them from our own personal angle using easy psychological imagery. We will spend a portion of each class practicing interpreting cards. You will learn over 12 card laying techniques, beginning with how to lay cards for yourself and ending with how to lay cards for others. Tanya believes that even if you lay cards for others, you are still learning to heal yourself. This is a great class for beginners or experienced people looking for new ideas.
